Your story reminds me of purchasing a 1969 Trans Am from Mr. October (Reggie) back in 1994. He was very friendly and approachable. He had quite a collection back then and it was the only Trans Am in the entire herd. Lots of rare Chevy's in his museum. Glad to see that he is still very appreciative to fans of all ages!

A photo of us with the car when I was MUCH thinner!

I also met Pete Rose at the MCACN show while we were waiting for a delicious steak at Gibson's a couple of years ago. He was NOT so friendly.

Nicest Pewter interior I've ever laid eyes on, Pat. Once again - well done, my friend!

Thanks Lloyd, I'm fortunate to get that nice original interior from Tom. Worked well all around.

The underwood pic is one of the bet I've ever seen of a '71 or '72. You nailed the finish on the engine brackets, hope folks step up, notice, and quit spray bombing them.
Thanks Roger, all the brackets are in original aged state, not touched, just cleaned up is all.

Yeah, non stop is right....good thing my day job allows me plenty of time! Thanks John....I still have some adjustments to do to the car...now I need to break in the engine. Only 14 miles on it. I took it out yesterday on the highway and sounds like a lifter worked its way loose. I pulled off and went back and got my truck and trailer and hauled it back. Yeah, my dad's car is next...need to build a garage first....hopefully next summer I'll get the garage up.

Default A RARE 455 HO 72 LEMANS up for sale

That's it. I bought and sold it back to the same person in New Hampshire. Revere Silver LeMans Sport Vert with Pewter Buckets. M-22 4-sp, Endura nose, LSD, Guage pkg, Rally II, 400 w/ dual exhaust. It was a sweetheart car but too slow.
