[QUOTE=Keith Seymore;6468022]Did a little photo shoot.
2024 marks the 60th Anniversary of the introduction of the GTO; as such the M1 Concourse will be hosting a special event on the Friday of the Dream Cruise weekend. The images taken today will be used to promote this special event. Wow!

Had a buddy do some paint work on the '72. Got it back today and turned out great. Next on the list is interior work.

I changed the oil on the T/A and hunted around looking for find an obvious solution to the Service Engine Soon light that popped up the other day..
I learned about '95s is that they are OBD1 systems with OBD2 ports, so most code scanners won't work with them. You also can't jump the terminals get it to flash codes. I ended up ordering a special ALDL cable with an OBD2 end on it and a $130 Windows laptop so I can run a free app to scan the code. Still cheaper than a $300+ scanner. I suspect it's the temp sensor as the fans are running like crazy and the temp gauge isn't moving, but I'll find out for sure when my stuff gets here.

Bled my front brakes..
What started out as the much needed front shock replacements mentioned earlier turned into calipers being rebuilt and new rotors, bearings and seals. Finally finished today with bleeding everything. I'll test them tomorrow and hopefully no air in the system. The front end was an area I never touched when I made this car roadworthy some years back. Way overdue! A 3 year old boy could move the old shocks in and out. Pretty much not absorbing anything. Calipers were pretty gummed up too but functional. I just couldn't ignore the rotor/brake appearance any longer longer... I'm thinking that I've found the cause of my long time, occasional front tire rubbing. Turning hard into an incline for instance. Sent from my moto g stylus (2021) using Tapatalk

Got windshield washing working on the 'Bandit' Suburban. The pump had quit, but it's part of the wiper motor assembly, which I didn't want to replace. A separate new pump ($10!) is ugly but functional.

Block sanding the body shell. Sure wish I would have done this while it was on the rotisserie.

I bought a front end rebuild kit. Does that count as doing something?

Installed the new A arm bushings on the '66 last month and removed the windshield to repair the channel. Ordered Air Lift air bags yesterday from Jegs to install in the rear springs. It's creeping along. Oh, a power steering gearbox rebuild kit is on the way. The box started leaking out of the input and sector shafts after I got it back on the road after 41 years. It was fine for the first few miles. The engine is still leak free....for now.

I backed the GTO out of the shop this morning to bring the wife’s car in for brakes. If that counts, so does yours.

Took it out for a short ride and also top off gas tank.
Came back and changed oil and filter. Finally installed new cap & rotor, she did run smoother!! time to put her away for winter. Gerry

It's not a Pontiac, but a Buick. They're part of the BOP family.
Took the GN out today to run errands. We're supposed to get a bunch of snow this weekend, so I wanted to get it out. Put about 100 miles on it. I'll have Pontiac updates soon!
