69 Firebird at $65K with a reserve in Florida. I don't think this car is worth that much, but the top on this car looks pretty bad ass IMO. I like the stance and while I'm not a big fan of the custom rims these work. I also like the Chevy Camaro rear spoiler. I don't think people understand that this was the standard Firebird (IMO) spoiler to get if you had the car in the 70's and were fixing it up. It was all about bolt on stuff when I was 16 and had my 70 GTO. Cragar SS rims with Gabriel air shocks all jack up under N50-15's that rubbed on the wheel wells when I went up a curb. It looked beautiful to me then, but nowadays they'd laugh you out of town. I do like these spoilers though and have an NOS one for my 69 project I'm saving for retirement. Another odd thing is there's no engine pics? A nice stock steering wheel would really make the interior pop.

70 GTO BIN at $30K in Utah. Says it's fresh pepper green paint with no rust. Guy went through the engine and replaced the gaskets in its non-matching number engine and claims it runs good. For $30K if you wanted a pepper green Judge clone or stock GTO this would check a lot of boxes.

65 GTO at $20K NR in California. Has a 421 and a 4-speed. Nice car and an original black plate CA car with the black plates is a very hard thing to find.

Here's a paradox of sorts, as the description of this car is one of the most brutally honest ones I've ever read and they're still asking $35K for it. So many things wrong with the white paint, but I'm torn on the Hurst wheels.

It looks like it was a really nice car before the current owner got hold of it. Surprised it still has a Pontiac 350 and what I assume is actually a Saginaw 4-speed? Not what ever Muncie they are claiming is in the car? Could be a good starting point for 1/3 the asking price. The Yellow 68 Conv. is very nice IMO.

67 Firebird convertible claims it was rotisserie restored at $60K in Illinois. Nice looking car, but IMO it doesn't know what it is. If it's a hot rod, then update the suspension if you're doing a frame off. Though it doesn't say "frame off" isn't that implied with a rotisserie restoration? If it's a restoration then don't install a dash kit. If it's a hot rod then update the interior and get rid of the 70's shifter. If it's stock then keep the stock intake and air cleaner, because other than the headers this could easily look very stock. It has #62 heads so it's not a numbers matching car. It is pretty, but it's really a sort of a mess IMO and not worth anywhere near $60K.

Another fly by night outfit once again passing off a Bird that's fairly good looking but is a Resto-mod at best.

I used to not even read these dealer ads, but sometimes there's a good one (consignment) and I like this car. 1968 Pontiac Firebird Convertible at $28.5K BIN in Pennsylvania. One look at the rusted section of the floorboards in the first pic may turn some away, but it's not that bad. There's a lot of things I'd change, but they're not that hard or expensive to do. Nice looking 10 footer for sure. Since a dealer is selling it, shipping would be easy too. Really nice entry level car.

69 Firebird in Florida at BIN $49K. As with most restomod cars, it's so far away from stock, you to have to share in the vision of the builder to really want it. It looks like shifting over the console hump would be an issue. It's a nice car, but it's not worth that much IMO and not as nice as the yellow convertible 68. Where I'm going is a stock car is a better ROI on average vs. restomods. If you're going to build a restomod, you better keep it, but there are restomods worth a lot of money. I have a friend with a 67 GTO and a supercharged LS3 and a ton of suspension mods with 17 inch Rally II's. I would think the car has at least $100K in it (it's nice). It was his GTO when he was 16 so he'll never sell it.

This 69 Firebird T/A clone has been around for awhile. At $50K it's a lot of money, but it would probably cost you that to build this if the bodywork is good. It is an OBO car and one I would consider if I wanted a 69 T/A convert clone. It looks nice to me and it's a car you could drive.

67 Firebird in NC at $37K NR. It's a nice car, but nice enough to get it bid up to $37K in 12 hours. Expect this one to fade away before it ends.

This one is interesting. It's not what I would build, but I suspect it has more $$$ in it than the asking price. 67 Firebird with a crate 454 for $29.5K BIN in Illinois. Change the shifter, wheels and gas pedal and this would look stock.
