Like I hadn't heard that one already!

It's hard to get a full load coming out of Florida this time of year - Brian knows that & knows to stay away from the state unless he's working an auction. Don't worry, I've helped Brian with other cars & parts as well - it works both ways.

Hey Brian! Cut the cheese and go home. Leave some scraps for us! lol
Did you happen to make the Jefferson swamp meet this past weekend? Yes "swamp" was intentional.

Just starting to go through the package I got with the car & couple of neat items jumped out - one is a picture of the car from the mid 90's prior to it's current paint job showing the original paint & stripes & the additional GTO decals.

The second is an editorial by the late Paul Zazarine from Musclecar Review (November 1999) about "Underdog Musclecars" as he calls them and about my car being listed in Hemmings back in 1999 - text starts in 3rd paragraph.

That is the ad that I told you about Chris. I called the guy in 1999 and have tracked the car ever since. He kept insisting to me that it was a GTO convert. as well. I also spoke to Paul Z. about it about that time. The seller, at the time, also had a 70 442 W-30 convert. and a 70 Stage 1 convert for sale in the same Hemmings issue. He wanted to sell all 3 as a package but ended up selling them seperately.
BTW. I have those previous title copies of your car if you do not have them.

Like I said before in this thread, funny how many of these cars had ALL of the GTO decals added to them at one point or another.

Very nice Chris! I like the reflection of your hand on the stick! And of course the barking of the wheels as you move thru the gears! Shaaaawing!

nice chris. car sounds really good. that is beautiful country too bad it gets sooo much snow and cold weather. i am surprised at how close the telephone poles are to the road. how many people hit them? and then the barn right against the road, wow i wouldnt want to put anything good in there.

The poles are close in some places, but we try to stay on the road - the barn has been there forever - Zoning now won't let you build anything within 50' of your front property line, but that one pre-dates zoning laws in town so can stay. I was waiting for the school bus to unload at that side street one afternoon this past winter and the snow on the steel roof let go and landed on my truck! They keep horses in the barn.

I need to get the radio & 8 track playing - gets a little boring without a soundtrack!
