Crower Rod Bolt Torque Specs
Does anyone have the torque specs for the stock length/dimension Crower Sportsman Rods? They have the cap screw type bolts.

More importantly first is how many times would this be that they where torqued up?
If this this time would make 5 then they should get replaced if you do not want to take chances! The sportsman with 3:8” bolts go to 47 to 50, and the 7/16” cap screw go to 70.

Thanks for the replies everyone. Mine seem to have A1 006077 87 stamped on the head of the cap screw. That isn't cross referencing to anything that I can find.

My Crower Sportsman 6.8 Pontiac (SP93421B) rod tag says 75 ft. lbs., .005" - .007" stretch, bolt part number 90829 and lube 90894. Tag says made in 2014. Head of the capscrew is ground and laser etched, not stamped.

I've never even heard of a Crower rod for a Pontiac that isn't 7/16" capscrew. Seems the only question should be if regular 8740 or a higher alloy.

The only way to for this to be done 100% correct regardless of what the torque number is to go by the stretch method.
