Day 2 Under Dash Gauges
Hey guys
I am getting my hands on a nice stock 67 LeMans and want to day 2 it a bit. It does not have gauges so I was wondering what was available back then for gauges. Green Line SWs are ridiculous so any others out there? I will eventually add stock GTO gauges but want to put something in now. Thanks

The SWs are also my first choice with 270 sweep
pretty sure one of my 68s is still sporting them

I didn't trust my temp gauge so I got an Auto Meter electric gauge. I didn't want to cut a hole for a mechanical gauge. Very accurate, unlike the old electric gauges.

The AutoMeter "Designer Black" series are my current favorite. Domed lenses, chrome rings, and orange needles with matching sweeps make for an attractive and tasteful package, IMO. A personal peeve of mine is auxiliary gauges with needle sweeps that don't match one another. The appearance of these gauges fits in with the rest of the dash/gauges rather nicely. They are electric rather than old school mechanical. I like having just wires to route for electric gauges rather than the oil line and heavy metal line that mechanical gauges use. They work well.
