1962 Manual antenna body
Antenna mast stud broke off in the pot metal body and the body it self was ruined trying to remove the broken stud.. this seems to be a hard to find part.
Is there anything else that works? Lots of fender mounted antennas back in those days. Anyone have a spare? OPG has a new one listed but it seems to be on backorder forever or hasn't really been produced yet.

I needed an antenna for my 1962 Bonneville a few years ago and tried to find something else with no luck. I broke down and bought a very nice used one from someone online. Not cheap but it was pit free. If you do find an alternative let us know.

There's item # 266738062828 on eBay, which is just the mast including the stud. I'm not sure how much more you might need. Not cheap, but apparently correct (it's been so many years since my '63 had her original mast I wouldn't know from personal experience; I've had a power antenna on mine for many years).

OPG actually got some more of those units in stock, and it came in familiar vendor packaging - one of the former pontiac parts suppliers. Fits nice and will work fine.
I got one of those antennas already - the old antenna I had broke off in the old base. Just need to find a cable that will work now but thats the easy part.
