70 Small Splash Shield
Looking for pics of the rubber piece that attaches vertically, 3 staples, at the back of the wheel wells (covers the brake line connection). The pen points to where it goes.
They repop the bigger one, but not these. Any help is appreciated. Sent from my SM-A125U using Tapatalk |

Interesting. So more of an anti rub/squeak piece.

Assuming I have the piece you are talking about, yes, just a rub panel between fender and chassis rail. So, was that of use?

Yeah, I imagine it has some thickness to it, so the staple doesn't stick out and rub.

When restoring, which set would I buy for my "71 TA and which staples? How were the staples installed? We there already holes in the sheetmetal or was it actually stapled?

Checked a couple of 70's in storage.
The small flap at the back is 1" x 6.5 inch They are the same material and thickness as the main inner fender flaps Attached two pics (one with, one without flash) of the flap on a 1970 left inner fender in storage |
