New ‘69 Judge
Cool photos of the purchase of a 1969 Judge.
Curious why the RH Judge decal is crooked, whereas the LH looks much better. Very cool day one photos.

I would imagine (rather than measuring it out on every vehicle) they had some kind of fixture or template to help locate the decal. The only problem with that is they typically are clunky and slow you down, so they fall into disuse as soon as management is not looking. The guy eyeballs it and this is what you get. These days we build some locating features into the premask to help place the part. Remove the premask and the graphic should be in the right spot. The tradeoff is the more extra material you add the bigger the part gets and the more it costs. Also - probably a different guy putting the LH side on vs the RH side. K

Interesting that the RH headlight cover seems to be properly lined up in one photo, but then askew in another photo. Wonder if they were playing with the lights with the engine off and ran the vacuum canister down to empty?
