Anyone know what this is?
I found a couple of these on the front driver's floor of my car. Does anyone know what it is? It's about 1 1/2" long.

I guess my usual McGanzer Flange comment would be pointless now.

He also posted about a loose shifter. I was able to put two and two together. Hard part was searching for a picture...

Okay... So it's a spacer for that thin bolt that goes sideways on the shifter? I was thinking the loose, sloppy shifter question and this piece might be related but wasn't sure.

It's more of a positioner. It keeps things from floating around.

I believe it's called a pivot bolt bridge plate.

Don't worry, you're right. It's a bridge plate. Dataway was just trying to use his standby reply to these type of questions.

Originally I thought it might be a muffler bearing support bracket
