Idle stop solenoid, W72
Hey all, looking for the above and seems it not available.
If I used an aftermarket or non-400 solenoid I'm guessing it works but checking if anyone has successfully done this. Here's one listed for a 350 Pontiac, for example: https://www.napaonline.com/en/p/CRB2...&ppid=CRB22187 My car is 78/W72/AC/4-speed Thanks |

It only has to match the carb being using, to mount the bracket and have the plunger align so it can push idle up to adjusted setting.

I used one that was listed for a corvette I think. I just made some spacers to position it accordingly with plans to make a different bracket at some point.

Cool. I see some without the bracket: https://www.napaonline.com/en/p/CRB2...ng_dcoe_google
I should be able to remove the original from the bracket and make the new solenoid work. Thanks! |

My 78 had a separate bracket and solenoid.
The separate solenoid fits the Holley carb bracket too!
