69 Firebird in AZ at $70K. This car has a nice paint job and a 350 Corvette engine. The blacked out grills and rear panel wouldn't have been my choice, but not too bad and the car has a nice stance. If you're going to ask 50% more than the car is worth (IMO), things like a radio actually installed in the dash would be nice.

Yeah, that's one ugly car. Fitting it has a 454 vs a real 455.

1971 T/A fixer on craigslist still:
https://mohave.craigslist.org/cto/d/...678669393.html Up for sale is a true 71 TA I have had for many years it is a running driving car. It has a Butler 467 stroker in a 1976 455 Trans Am block and heads. I do have the original YE code 71 455 4 bolt main engine that will go with the car it is .040 over and will go back to .040 over it does need rod and main bearings. The original 400 transmission is still in car and works great. It is a very solid car with little bit of rust, and it was hit in the left rear 1/4 some time in its life the trunk pan is still bent some they never fixed it you can see in the pictures. The car was stolen in the 80s in California and was issued its original vin. number by the state of California. I have owned it for about 17 years it has been a great car that we don't hardly drive. Car will need a battery we have one to put in it to start it but will not go with sale. You can drive like it is or restore it. If you don't want the motor that is in the car, I will take 4000.00 off the purchase price and I will pull the motor. This is a cash only sale no trades. If you don't have the cash don't waste both of our time. Call between 7am-4pm only. No tire kickers |

1949 Chieftain Silver Streak at $17.5K BIN in SC. Has it's original straight 8, but I'd like it more if it had a SBC crate engine. I love the look of this car.

69 Firebird at $49K BIN in Tennessee. What I find sad about this car is that it has 0.2 miles on it. Regardless of whether or not we would have taken the same path, there was a lot of work done to this car and it was never driven. Things I don't like include the traction bars (too low), air cleaner (backwards flames), valve cover twisties (ick) and the interior (rear seat looks like a 70's van). That's a lot, but that's me. It has a SBC and it probably runs well, but it's not a Pontiac. The work on the firewall means zero to me. Still, this car could be fun to own if the price was right.

69 Firebird in Minnesota at $17K BIN. Car looks like a backyard mechanic made some groovy mods. The air deflector on the AC blocking the passenger's leg room is a bit sketchy.

That car was originally Goldenrod but obviously repainted Mayfair Maize. Trunk lid from a blue car, doors from a red car. Rough body and paint work but I do like that Mayfair over Goldenrod.

77 T/A in NJ at $15.5K BIN. Looks mostly stock with an uncut FM radio. Can't tell what that black triangle is running through the brown stripe on the PS middle door, but best guess would be a chunk of bondo fell out? The car looks like it was undercoated a long time ago. I used to work at a detail shop when I was 17 and I sprayed many undercarriages with this black tar... nasty stuff. I had shoulder length hair back then, and if a chunk of tar landed in your hair, you had to cut it out.

69 Firebird convertible in NC at $45K BIN. If you want to know what a convertible top looks like when done my someone inexperienced, this is a prime example. Also shows a before pick of when it was slammed (ouch baby, very ouch). The interior mods and chrome engine parts all look like a total waste of money, but if that's your bag, this one could be for you. I would worry if it had lifetime alignment issues?

62 Grand Prix 4-speed tri-power in Florida at $9500 BIN. I don't show a 10B block code in Pete's book for 1962 (shows a source on the docs), but the re-stamp "C" is interesting. Rare car worth saving.

Re: The black triangle on the yellow TA... zoom in and you'll see a bunch of those places where the quarter inch of Bondo didn't stick to the rust. That quarter is shot! Who knows what else is still covered up.

Regarding the 62 "C" block stamp, I think that indicates the four speed. My 63 4-spd block has the same "C" overstamp.

This car is one very beautiful Pontiac. 1961 Catalina convertible 4-speed tripower in California at $50K BIN. There's way more than $50K in this restoration. What a knock-out car with the 8 lugs and fat white walls. The steering wheel is amazing.
