Date code help
I am taking the 4 speed apart for my 70 Grand Prix with a September 69 build date. I am not up to speed on muncie codes. It is stamped P9K09A. Is this correct for the car? It has the right part number tags and you can still make out the DJ ink stamp

It was made Sept 9th, 1969.
It should have a partial VIN stamped on it about like the engine does.

P9K09A would be a Muncie made for the 1969 Model Year (1968 built date in this case). K = July.

Thanks, Mike.
I forgot Muncie did not use every month in alphabetical order. (A-Jan, B-Feb, etc.) They jumped letters after E. Should have looked info up.
