Default Moser 12 bolt

I could hear a little whirring noise from the rear differential with no load on it and decided to do a fluid change. As you can see in the pic in the pain, all kinds of crap came out of it. I pulled it apart and don't see anything wrong with the pinion or ring gear. I checked tolerance and it was roughly .013 play before I tore it apart. What do you guys think, do you see something I don't?

Can’t tell from the pictures if it’s metalic ir clutch type material .
You really need Ole pinion head to look at the pictures he’ll know .

Well I can say a magnet does not pick any of it up. Wondered if it could be casting material/junk.
