1959 Catalina Convertible Boot trim
Hi, i have a 1959 Pontiac Catalina convertible I'm in the middle of restoring.
I bought the car is many parts and pieces, one of which is the chrome trim that wraps around the trunk deck lid. This particular piece of trim has snaps in it where the boot snaps in to hold it in place. I received the trim in 4 pieces, 2 large pieces that slide into each other in the center back of the deck lid and two more 4 inch pieces that go on each side of the car near the back window. It looks like the 2 small 4 inch pieces were cut when removing the old trim but the more I look at it the more I'm wondering if this trim is really 4 pieces instead of 2. Wondering if anyone else has a 59 Catalina convertible and knows if it's a 2 or 4 part piece of trim. Thanks!! |

@catbird Thanks, would you happen to know where I could find the little clips that slide into the trim piece?
