I would of liked to had a silver TA. Didn't know anything about the Smokey and the Bandit movie when I bought my TA just a couple of weeks before the movie came out. I'm very glad I bought a black car!!!
I wonder if the silver paint process/formula was improved for the release of the TATA. They seemed to hold up better.

A black TA must have gone over well when the movie came out.

Great thing about an Espirit is they all came with deluxe interior .
The 350 Chevy engine was probably the best choice since the 400 Poncho wasn't an option on that Bird.
Cruise Control is Extra Awesome !
Post the PHS when you get it please.

PHS attached as requested

I dunno if it was a production mix up or what, but this Firebird has the U58 AM/FM Stereo installed instead of the UM1 AM/8 track that is on the invoice. Personally I like the stereo that is in it better!

That is odd it got the wrong radio and was left that way .
I had lots of 8 tracks back then and they would have had to straighten that out.

Rebate credit on the tires is sorta funny

Congrats on your new Espirolet 5.7

Cool that it has cruise control. That must have been close to the first year it was offered on the Firebird.

One of the best Chevrolet engines that people living in Chevyland, seemingly know little about is the small block 400. A mild build on one of these will really put a smile on your face!!!

You don't need any expensive parts for these engines. Even the stock large chamber heads work great.
You'd want to make sure your trans and rear end are in good working order!!!
