Default Help Please: Edit a Post

Take a minute to help an old fart, please!!
I posted some parts for sale and some have sold so I want to edit the original post to remove them. I'll be dipped in **** if I can figure out how to go about it. My permissions say that I can edit my post. If you haven't done your good deed for the day, here's your chance.....................................

this is (in my opinion) the only real quirk about this site;
You can only edit a post of yours within the first hour of creating it.
There are no exceptions.

In your case, people tend to just add a post saying what has sold.

What unruhjonny said - you can only edit your posts within the first hour. In your case, just make a new post in the same discussion with an edited list (you can either cut and paste the text from the original post, or use the Quote button, so you don't have to retype everything.)

Chemnick, you need to get a hold of a Moderator to edit anything older than one hour.

b-man is one. Send him a private message and he'll help you. Not sure who the others are. Maybe someone can give
you their names so they can help if you can't get b-man's help.

Edit:
BTW, Stuart is another moderator.

Just post another reply to your ad with the changes then you’re good.

See, I told ya. He keeps a pretty good eye of the forums. Tho he could be snowbound, and this is keeping him occupied.

Right now I’m at the gym, it’s 66 degrees sunny skies but expecting rain tomorrow and Saturday.

That's good it's rain. I heard California is going to get more snow soon. We've had none at all. Well, just a dusting before Christmas but that doesn't count. It disappeared with in 15 minutes. The sun came out and poof it was gone. LOL
