Trunk release solonoid?
I believe this was removed from a 1973 pontiac grandville.
would this be same fitment/functionality for all 1973 pontiacs? anyone care to share a diagram of the mounting/wiring? thank you Last edited by JUDGE3; 12-20-2023 at 10:55 AM. |

Looks to be the same as mine on my 77 Trans Am. I can take a picture of mine tonight or tomorrow if it’d be useful and nobody beats me to it.

solenoid
Thanks Brian
once I went and looked, very simple install. tested and works great. just run the wire and install a glove box button now. just a fun item to add beings I had the solenoid laying around for probably 25 years! Last edited by JUDGE3; 12-20-2023 at 10:55 AM. |

That particular trunk release solenoid was used in just about every GM car line in the 1970's- early 1980's.
