Thanks and see y'all
A note of thanks and well wishes to all. Thanks to PY / Ames for hosting this forum. Thanks to all the people that have helped me with parts, and a mountain of help and advice. This has been a great and many year ride with y’all. The knowledge base here far exceeds any FB or Google Pontiac sources! My Bird world is a “we’ll” see future. The silver 72 has a new happy home in Montana with my hot rod buddy who has wanted it for years.
Life sometimes comes down to choices. I’m in process of moving to remote southwest New Mexico. A garage build was biggest obstacle. In the works, but may take 6-12 months to complete. Here a few pics of place. Modest 1240 SF manufactured. 0n 3 acres with back line USFS border to “The Gila”. Upgraded with metal roof and log siding. Lots of interior upgrades. I am at 6000’ el., bigger hills and peaks all directions I am in Pinion and Juniper forest, with Ponderosas mixed in. Elk everywhere. On my land all the time. My dream to get back to the southwest. Pray for rain for us this monsoon. Best to everyone and not sure where path leads, but it has been a great ride, 8 birds later (and one LeMans, one Catalina). Don’t be surprised if I beg back in the Poncho club later. Or I may do a 65 El Camino again, cowboy hot rod. Or both, ha. Y’all take care. The road goes ever on.

Anthony,
Congrats on your impending move. I too am sorry to see you go, but thanks for being a big part of the PY boards over the years. FYI, just because you're "between cars" doesn't mean you have to leave the family, so check in once in a while and let us know how you're doing. Chris |

I'm curious. Why are you leaving?
I haven't owned a Pontiac for 4-5 years and I'm still here-the friends I have made are too good to walk away from. What's your reasoning?

Please add me to the list of well wishers;
It has been great knowing you, and hopefully we'll bump into each other again down the road! I am glad you're looking forward to this next chapter in your life - even if it is a "bird-free" period of life. PS: I still have images stashed somewhere from your old site
