Remote mirror ???
I put the '71 painted remote sport mirror on my '70, but can't figure out how to attach the control to the door panel? I had a chrome remote on it before. Am I missing something?

Can you post picture of exacly wahat you have?
I have had to tighten the remote mirror on my 71 GP and I know I may have at least 1 old unit with cable (and manual remote toggle) still attached ?
This is for drivers side, correct? Next time I go to my garage, I'll make a point to look. As far as attaching the actual remote, it may not be all that complicated. Usually a simple clip or retaining screw. I have a 71 assembly manual, and can try to look it up for you. Nothing speaks as well as an "exploded parts" 3D diagram... Thanks, John |

I had to get the control panel for a '71 to make it work. Unfortunately, my door panel now looks jacked because of the hole already there.

Anvil Auto
won't help if you already have the door panel hole, would have to replace the panel, but anvil auto has a drivers side manual mirror like the passenger side. not cheap but I like it, gets rid of the annoying octopus cable.
