Crap I just noticed we need our hose/fitting exits on either side of the bolt and not two exits on one side like the chebby stuff. I’ll have to ask about this.

I'm still in. If we're lucky Meziere has some raw castings without the threaded holes in them yet. Thanks for the effort !!

What is gained by using the spacer as opposed to plumbing directly into the crossover? Seems like you’re making it more complicated than it needs to be.

The spacer is just a way to add water lines into the crossover. The two threaded ports that are installed by the factory are usually used for accessories, so there is no where for two more, hence the adapter. I had my Son weld two -10 fittings on the crossover. post #35 has the pics.
I used the two factory threaded ports, one for a temperature gauge in car and the other one for a sensor for my electric fans.

I added two fittings to the bottom of the crossover. Will be adding another one between the thermostat housing and the coolant temp fitting to hook up a bypass hose that will run down to the remote pump inlet side.

Looks great. Did you simply drill and tap for the elbow connectors or did you epoxy as well?

I've been on the waiting list with precision for some time now. The owner and I had some dialog way back where he was doing some design work for a unit that is better suited for street and can be used with a thermostat...this is what I understood from our conversation.

Holes are drilled and tapped. Elbows needed to be “clocked” so tapping was stopped at the point of proper orientation when tightened. No epoxy.

You could always drill and tap another hole in a Meziere spacer on the opposite side and plug the one not used. Just a thought.

To me, one of the most enjoyable parts of building something non stock is figuring out things and making them work. It also makes it “yours” and sets you apart from the masses.
Here’s a couple of pics from my first non stock cooling system. I designed and built it in the late ‘80s. Pics aren’t that old though. Modified Weiand front cover, hand made adapters to use a SBC electric water pump on top of a home made front motor plate. The Algon injection is just sitting there, I never ran it. Not in the pics is a custom billet thermostat housing with radiator cap because the radiator was lower. It all worked great.

We should have the final answer today. I’m asking for 4 to be made (two for you and the other two for me). I’m making sure we can have the threaded machined fitting holes in the correct spot for our pontiacs.

Hi James: I'll just pass. Probably won't use it anyway as I still have this one here. Thank again.

I posted #35 a pic of the one I have. If you need any measurements of the ports let me know.
