Dave Wilcox contact info request
Dave is not answering his number that I have used in the past, from his website.
https://headsandmanifolds.wordpress....-to-look-like/ Does anyone know how to contact Dave? I’ve been to his house in VA, but it is a three hour drive, so that’s not too convenient. When I call his number I get a full inbox, after no answer. Thanks in advance, hopefully Dave is OK, I like working with him.

I texted Dave around Christmas and he said he doesn't have his CNC machine anymore, so not sure what he can do or not do.

I don't think Dave is in business any longer.

So will we never see that single plane tripower intake (if it even ever existed) that he advertised for so long...?

Pretty good assumption I would guess.

Wasn't sure if your question was rhetorical or just ****ing stupid. Hard to say on this site

All I'm saying is that his web site has advertised this intake for a LONG time. I respect his accomplishments for the Pontiac world more than I can say. But, any business that would continually advertise a product that does not, has not, or will not ever come to pass is not good business. OK, I don't know what has gone on behind the scenes, but I've been interested in this intake since I first saw it, have asked for pics several times but no response. If that makes me ***king stupid I'll live with it.

Dave was the biggest fish I brought into the group.. not sure what happened to him... I literally live 15 mins from where his shop was.. I considered him a friend.. on that note, I haven't talked to him in 3 years.... Not sure what happened to him nor do I pry.. he actually owes me a full race port job on any heads I chose... like to think he will honor that when I reach out.. Sorry you were let down by him. Hard to say what people are going through... Dave was always honorable with me and the local racers.. |

It would have been interesting to see his single plane Tri Power, his cross ram intakes.
Or the BBC tunnel ram converted to Pontiac. I never heard about any of them making it to a engine. You would think someone would have tried the T ram since they existed. |

Why would anyone even want a 3 carb intake that will never equal a 2 carb intake?Tom

Most of the Aftermarket Vehicle Modifiers stayed away from the 3 BBL stuff.
Baldwin Chevrolet orders a bunch of High Performance Chevy combinations and Joel Rosen who started up Motion Performance near Baldwin Chevrolet modified the engines. Joel liked the 3 bbl carbs and sold a bunch of them after he slightly modified the intakes. Not much interest otherwise. I spoke with Joel several times when I worked at Holley Engineering. Joel's offering of the 3-barrel carb caused other Holley 3 BBL sales in other locations of the country. I have only seen two 3 bbl carbs on Pontiacs. One was in the Mid 60s and one was the special modified 850 Holley carb that Bill Klausing and I modified into a 3-barrel carb for Marty P. A PY member owns that 950 cfm carb today. Tom V.

I was impressed that once Dave realized he had an issue with his bench inflating numbers he admitted it and correct the issue. Said he never had a 400+cfm e-head. Hope the best for him

I texted Dave today and he said he can still hand port heads and do valve jobs. Maybe be able to due head work this summer or fall. So he can still do stuff and hoping to do more later
