1962 389ci long block and tH350 trans
Pulled from a Starchief. Owned by a Dr and garage kept. 60,000 mi. 2 BBL. Running when pulled. Dr passed away and buyer replaced factory 389ci with a turbo LS1 into the Starchief. Motor complete, turn key ready, all brackets and bolt-on's including A/C compressor, air cleaner. tH350 transmission still bolted on. 1500 OBO. Will strap to open pallet and deliver to shipper of choice. We have fastenal and yellow freight here among others. Buyer arranges all shipping details and costs with shipper. Can send pics. Zip 79118.

It is the factory auto transmission. I was told it was a t350 but it is an odd duck. I’m sure many of you who are experts in these cars will correct me and that’s fine. Always willing to learn.

if it is the short wheel base its a slimjim transmission and if the long base it could be a hydromatic.NOT a later style auto.Tom

If it is the original transmission from the Star Chief, it is a Dual Coupling Hydramatic
