Default 1979 Formula

I might have available a 79 Formula. Has a 400, 4spd, Hurst shifter, supposedly a W72 . One repaint no visible rust, 40,000 miles. What is the ballpark value and good price to buy at.

You may have one for sale or are you buying? Colors, options etc make the difference.

One of 346, so if numbers matching, and unmolested, should fetch good money.

Thank you, wasn’t expecting an absolute answer, just a general opinion like that.

Is there anything on the car that says it’s a W72s?

I would think $18k-$24k would be reasonable and in the ballpark. IF its in really good condition and needs nothing but to be driven. On the other hand if its a good 20 footer that needs an interior refresh and maybe the motor going over then I would think $15k tops. 4 speed is the key to this one, great selling point. Rarity doesnt always equate value.

5th digit in the VIN has to be a Z.

I'd be interested in a Nocturne blue Z code Formula project original camel hobnail interior car.
NOM would not be a deal breaker, have an extra Pwh 400 that could build up.

Nice looking car but I don't understand why a low mile car would have the wrong gas door on it.

Because they were fragile..

OR the previous owner liked the newer version better.
