Default New here with '65 GTO

Have lurked for a while, so it's time to join. I have a 1965 GTO that I purchased about a year ago from the nephew of the original owner. It's all original except for one repaint, bottom in 1976, & top in 2004. Tons of records of service, documentation, & PHS documents. Teal Turquoise, Cameo Ivory top, turquoise interior. 389 4bbl. Automatic. I always wanted a GTO, and this one showed up out of the blue.

Welcome aboard. And as others have said, nice looking 65! The first GTO in my family was a used 65 that my brother bought in 1970.

I’ve seen a few photos of this ‘65 GTO before. Possibly over on The Supercar Registry (Yenko site).
Beautiful two-tone paint car.

I’m glad you joined the PY.

Beautiful '65. There was a '66 around here that same color combo a few years back, also with the painted top. Welcome!
