WTB Ohc6 250 crankshaft gear. 1968 1969
Hi guys I’m looking for a 68- 69 ohc6 250 crankshaft gear. My old one has been machined for a new key groove. Please see pictures.
Thank you. Please message or call. John 213-435-5151 |

Can't you just use the correct groove? Or maybe it is damaged. I should have one around.

Crankshaft gear
Hello no the original groove looks like the key moved side to side and gouged the hole in the gear and someone machined another groove in the gear. Please see picture. I’d rather use a gear with the factory groove so I know the timing and belt position is dead on. If you please can you check to see if you have another 250 gear ? you can sell me?? Thanks John

Also, have a 250 Crank Sprocket if something doesn't work out.

I found a crank sprocket to send to John but it was in a box with a variety of spare parts.
My question is are there 2 different sprockets 230 and 250 or are the all the same? If different how can I tell if this is a 250 crank sprocket? Thanks Chris |

I think I found the answer inner diameter on the 230 is 1.25” and the 250 is 1.3125” (1 1/4” v. 1 5/16”).
Sound right? |

Correct the 250 Crank snout is larger.
