My parts are sitting in my shop. Waiting to get the block, heads and crank back from the machine shop. Maybe I can get everything assembled by the end of July????

If you go to u tube and look up LS lifters in Pontiac’s (lsx hunter) and retrofitting GM roller lifters ( craw daddy customs) you will get a good overview of the setup. If randy can do a reasonably priced kit including the correct length push rods it looks very practical.

This is an interesting system. At engine speed, is there ever any contact with the lifter guide plate and the lifter body?

No contact. The lifters ride squarely on the cam lobes. The plate simply prevents the lifter from rotating when and if it bleeds down due to the engine not running for a while.

will it clear over a megabrace? and or be capable of functioning due to the the megabrace is at the top of the lifter bore already (IIRC). I guess if needed the megabrace could be machined .060 on the top side so as to allow a below flush height to the lifter bore tops.

figured it would be very close per the 2 designs...just not sure how much lifter tops were above the lifter bores

Or if somebody over-revs the motor, and the lifter leaves the lobe.

^^^ good ?
I guess one would need to verify overall lift of the lifter relative to the lock plate ...per the side clearance as it is per 45*. lifter clearance......alot of things going on here but it is all simple math |

We should have all the backorders shipped by tomorrow. Longer than we expected but now that it's all Injuneered, the next batch will be much quicker.
The delays gave me more time to think it through and we all ended up with a better product. New series of instructional videos coming soon too! I guess it's true that good things come to those who wait. https://pontiacspeedshop.com/valvetr...-plate-system/
