It's kinda interesting how confusing the T-37/GT-37 thing is. I wonder how confusing it was in 1970?

Very confusing.
This question came up for me because I have a '70 Tempest built 03B, shipped 3/17/70. The original bill of sale from the dealership lists the model as T-37 when it sold 10/2/70. The PHS just says Tempest.
So for me the question is if it's a Tempest or a Tempest T-37.
This led me to start a thread a few years back here,

and in continued research I found this post:

The Pontiac Accessorizer effective February 24, 1970 lists:

There is not a listing for the GT Sport Package (GT-37) in this later edition of the Accessorizer, thus adding further creedence to the May intro date.
There were no post (3327) T-37s built in 1970, no such animal, but the GT Sport Package was available on both 2-door body styles of the Tempest. As JLP states, a V-8 was a manditory option.

I'd like to get ahold of or see scans/prints of the original accessorizers with those dates. My car being a 3337 I believe points me back to Tempest T-37. But there is all sorts of conflicting info about it, and any discussion is inevitably derailed by GT-37 talk, or "this is how it was in '71."
