Honesty is the best policy! If he’s a “true friend” he will Man up and take care of the damages, as well apologize and make a wrong a right. If you don’t say anything, it will always be on your mind eating at you, especially when you see him again. Don’t wait to long though get right on it and clear the bad air. hope it gets worked out.

Just suck it up and say nothing and you’ll keep a friend. If he says, “hey, let’s go for a ride in your car” you can tell him okay as long as he leaves the dog at home and you can tell him why. He’ll feel terrible if he’s really a friend. If he’s a self-centered lout he’ll just tell you how you’re “too touchy” and “it’s just a car.” Sometimes we can gain a lot by just keeping our mouths shut when our primal forces scream for “justice.”
