2.50" Register Flywheel to 2.75"... Anyone ever had it done?
Good Evening, has anyone ever had a 2.50" register flywheel bored out to the bigger 2.75" size? I need the 2.75" register for the new Eagle crank, and have 3 good 2.50" register flywheel on hand, so I thought maybe one of those could be bored out to the 2.75" by someone, and then I can have it Neutral balanced to go with my stroker build. Anyone ever had this done?

Yes, it's straightforward. I've also machined up a spacer to go the other way.

Thanks guys, I appreciate the responses. I have actually found a great deal on a new(used for mockup only)Ram 1557 Flywheel that we are going to go with I think.

I did. The machine shop machined it too large and as it was a stock flywheel, I didn't trust it rattling around on the end of the crank and ended up scraping it.

have done them both ways. Open up the flywheel also make a spacer to locate to a small crank.. non-issue when properly retained.

Just to follow up on this guys, I did end up going with the Ram 1557 Flywheel, Neutral Balanced, 2.75" Register, accepts 10.5 and 11" clutch, Made in the USA. I feel like I got a great deal on it, as it was Brand New, used for mockup only.
