CARCRAZEDKID interviews John Dinkel from Austin Performance about a 1970 Firebird Trans Am. In it he features my car.

Thanks. A good friend commented it was neat to see someone that young into cars, and that we need more of that. I agree.

Yea, my 15 year old grandson is getting the full dose of hotrod/Pontiac medicine. He has ridden in the TransAm and the Bird so he is well on his way to a full appreciation of these 'old' classics.

Very Nice Steve, the new combo sounds great and just in time for cool weather cruising . Looking forward to hearing how the new solid roller works out for you.

Larry, I just got the car back last Wednesday evening. The next day I went on a 107 mile drive. Drove back into town, then out into the countryside for lunch. After eating I cruised out thru our hill country area to another city, drove thru it, and then came home. City driving and a lot of open highway. With a few blasts up thru the gears to a 100 or so mph. But I didn't beat on it. Honestly with the expected loss of horsepower I cannot notice any difference than as before !

He does a pretty nice interview for a little feller, great to see the car again.
Takes me back to the HPP days, good thing Poncho Perfection lives. I agree also, we need youth to keep our heritage alive, thanks for the post. Frank
