Electric fan buzz?
Curious if anyone has run into the buzz problem with their electric fan setup? Just got my engine running yesterday , and while the fan and controller worked perfectly, there is a loud electrical buzz when I turn the variable speed fan to high, and a moderate buzz when fan is running at lower speed.
From my research, the buzz can be common with some fans, but not typical with the Mark 8 fan. Auto Cool Guy website sells a "buzz box" for $65 that sits between the controller and fan. I understand the box emits short signals to fan when it is off, which supposedly addresses the electrical buzz. Any experience out there with this problem? Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk

Update... I installed a couple of large capacitors between power and ground to the fan, and to the control box. 80% of the buzz is gone!
