Default Rare 1981 Book: Supertuning Your Firebird Trans Am
One of the best sources ever for pre-1981 Firebird/Trans-Am information. There is a very detailed history of the car and its builders (the people, not just GM!). Includes a very detailed and technical wealth of information on chassis tuning, Pontiac specific engine work (heads to cranks), HO Racing tuning, turbocharging, handling, gearing, production numbers, casting numbers... the list goes on.

This is a very tough book to find and this one is in excellent condition. You will not find better. Cheapest one on Amazon is $63.22 plus shipping and it's only in good condition.

$40 plus $5 shipping.
