Thanks guys! I really appreciate it. It has been a challenge to get everything together as early as Div 2 starts. No dyno and hadn’t been down the track until getting here. Car did GREAT! Motor ran great so I couldn’t be more pleased with it. Thanks again!

Also I was surprised by how quickly the All aluminum motor cooled down after each run. Even when they started hot lapping us it was never an issue cooling down. That was a perk I was not expecting.

when i ordered my block this fall, that was the deciding factor for me. I am just a bracket racer, but that fast cooling that Frank mentioned sealed the deal on the aluminum block for me too. THank you for your first hand experience.
which intake did you end up with? the Tiger and no spacers? what do you think it will run off the stop, educated guess?

Frank got me a new Tiger intake with no spacers. He had me send it to his guy to port match to my gaskets in a hurry and got it back to me in time to make the race. This winter I will send the heads and intake back to him and let him work them a little more. As far as how fast will it run off the stop I don’t know yet. Somewhere in the 8s I’m sure. The heads and block are dry decked and Butler used braided hoses at the rear of the motor to circulate the water. It obviously worked really well as it never got over 180 and cooled down really quick. I’m real pleased with using Butler and Frank at All Pontiac for sure.
