Default Chrysler Museum Detroit Closed?

https://autoweek.com/article/classic...mber-good-time

Is this true? Is this the museum that had on display Chrysler tank engines from WWII? I always wanted to see these.

Yes, unfortunately they've been closed for a while now. They did have the tank engine, but I think one of the main problems was that they rarely changed their exhibits. It was open for almost 20 years and I was probably there 20 times (or more), and it never really changed that much.

It closed several years ago. The last I heard is it was available on a limited basis for groups and special functions.

GM One in Flint is closed as well, we wanted to hit it when we were at Woodward this summer but its also only for group bookings. Out with the old, in with the new I guess. Luckily the Henry Ford is still going strong, they have a great appreciation for their heritage.

Its shut down and converted into the Alfa Romeo headquarters. The cars were moved to the old Viper plant, I don't know where the other displays went. The Sherman Tank fan engine was impressive.
