Hopefully this car goes high, because my brother or I will end up buying it. These survivor cars are all over the board on money. The wheels and tires, and not so shiny paint would make most think it's a beater.

Their site states sold prices do include the buyer's premium, likely 10% in this case, i.e. hammer price of 50k.

Sold for 50k. No I did not buy it. It is a great car, but all the tops has surface rust under the paint, even though rust free car. I would have painted it. A shame I know. Great piece for sure. All the marbles in my opinion.

I did not see car in person but another member here that saw car told me he thought bottom half of car was repainted.

This thread is a couple days old, good time to say Glasco sold a black 68 GTO convert he did at Mecum that was over the top. I think he pulled the reserve too low, I spoke with him earlier and he was talking $10k more so I was out looking when it went through. He does fab work!
