I wanted to get them for my trans am but I run Y.O.M. plates so the state issued ones sit in the trunk. Too much money just to hide them away. The tags I was going to get would say "NUTZ". It makes better sense parked next to my wifes mustang, as she is a die hard Chargers fan, her tag reads "BOLTZ".

I had a personalized plate on my white 62 Tempest for several years. The white one is a modified car, 61 389 Tri-power hid under the hood. I have now gone to a historical plate and am running with a plate printed in 1962. The vanity plate that I ran was B4GTO. I also thought about ZZZZZZZ because the car is a real sleeper. 3 2'S is another idea.

When I lived in WI, their collector plates were robins egg blue with red letters - I hated the way they looked. So I went with regular personalized plates on my '64 GTO.

1ST GTO

Dual meaning to me. It is the 1ST GTO and it was my 1ST GTO.

Now that I'm in MN, I have YOM plates on all the toy cars. One time registration fee and now they are licensed forever - as long as I own the cars.

These were the plates on my 1970 Formula 400. I sold the car a few years ago and let the new owner keep the plates.

I don't have a personalized plate, but Indiana allows you to run year correct plates. So both my 1964 Galaxie, and my 67 Firebird have 1964 and 1967 plates respectively.

10 years ago I got music related Allman Brothers: EATAPCH (Eat a Peach)

When I went to the counter to request, it turned Seinfeld instantly. So loud enough all the seated people could hear, old guy tells me he can't submit that. I said, why? He said it was dirty. I said on the internet there are ones from all over the country. He said nope. I asked what he thought it meant. He said "Eat A Patch".

That really happened. I went back another day, another clerk, and got it.

Anything that doesn't state the obvious... I just ordered UNDONE for my Judge... which could mean it is 'un-done' or that I'm losing my mind. Depending on the day its a flip of the coin..
At one time, JEKYLL the mild mannered doctor was on my 69 Judge. HYDE the sinister alter-ego was on by old 6bbl Road Runner right next to it.
CRUSH was on my 69 (orange CRUSH) Judge in Nebraska. DSTRYR inspired after listening to a song in 1986 from the 1976 KISS album.

So... Tempest... THESTRM The Storm

Haha That's awesome. A co-worker told me last week that he thought a guy across the street from him had DSTRYR on his new Challenger. I said no way.. but looked on the county's treasurer site and sure enough... DSTROYR is taken.. I'm gonna troll that sob until I find and see if it is him. My buddy says he's a cop, which doesn't matter except for that I want him to see the original as often as I can. I just put DSTRYR on my 2500 CTD Ram. I figured if I'm gonna have the plate it should be on something I actually get to drive!

Mine looks like it says 2005 GTO, but Ohio won't let you use the first portion without a letter in it. It is actually 2o05 GTO the first digit after the 2 is a O and there isn't any difference in the script. My second choice was going to be FST NANA...…...

I still have people ask me when they are standing there looking right at the car, "What year is it"?...……
