Straightening bent “C” section of Frame
So back before I knew any better, when I first got my GTO some 30 years ago I jacked it up on the “C” section on the side of the frame and bent it upwards.
Any suggestions as to what tool can I use to bend this back into place? Ron |

A large cresent wrench or a pipe wrench.

You can try two pieces of flat bar stock (3/8" or thicker) and some C clamps. I have straightened many channel flanges using those tools.

I used a piece of 1/2" flat steel clamped over the bent section(s) and then I used a large crescent wrench and a large pipe wrench to bend the frame back in position. Slid the flat steel up and down until the bends were all
worked out. |
