Default T&D custom shaft rockers for 1962 SD #544127 Heads

T&D made a nice set of rockers for the title heads...however I ordered rockers for the DCI V heads. No big deal, crap happens and they are correcting. The good part for the Pontiac community is there are 4 sets with 1.8 ratio aluminum bodies and spring oilers that are available. The bad part is Sheldon at T&D tells me they will trash the bars once I return them. I plan to return them as soon as my order is ready to ship (possibly 2 weeks.) Unique opportunity. PM me and I can help facilitate the sale of one set or all four.

I do not know all the dimensions of all the heads so if you say the 63 SD 980's are the same then I am good with that. A 1962 SD head was sent to T&D and they made the shaft system. The head we sent appears to be unaltered as it pertain to the valve spacing, rocker stud and pushrod locations. T&D determined they did not have anything in their catalog that would fit so these are a new add to their portfolio. If you send a head I can test fitto see if they will bolt on. What other heads (year model/casting number) do you think have the same valve spacing, rocker and pushrod spacing as the 1962 SD #544127?

Are the 61 SD heads the same valve spacing as the 62-63s? Are the run-of-the-mill 1962 heads the same valve spacing? I tried these shafts on my #48 heads and these have very different rocker stud center to center locations. Unique opportunity
