1970 Popular Mechanics?
I have the issue where 1970 Firebird and Camaro owners are polled after having owned them for several months, but it looks like I don't have this one - does anyone have an idea as to the month of this issue?
I found it on a guy's photobucket page, but saved and loaded them up so that PB doesn't kill the hotlinks.

Quite likely one of few '70 Muncie three speed Formula 400's left. 1991 Grand Am: 14.4 @ 93.7mph (DA corrected) (retired DD, stock appearing) 2009 Cobalt SS: 13.9 @ 103mph (current DD; makes something north of 300hp & 350ft/lbs) |

HFR;
Imagine for a moment how I felt earlier today when looking at your link, and I realized I recognized that March 1970 PM cover... I came home, and low and behold - I have it! lol if you want another chuckle, I actually bought it at a local swap meet (the only "local" one I got to) earlier this year for the advertisement on the inside cover; Being a March 1970 I knew that it was a dead ringer for a Firebird ad; It has a compact three page version of the beginning of tomorrow ad with the sharp blue Formula in the foreground, and a white TA in the background.

In todays context, this made me chuckle:
"It's when the hp goes up, that things tend to become tacky. I've never been a fan of hood scoops, spoilers, and the like. To my eye such gimmicks look ridiculous." Another period review mentioned unnecessary bolt-on, add-ons. I seem to remember a Pizza City reference in another. I like the straight lines of an unadorned bird, but I wouldn't be as harsh as some old reviews. Funny now...…………….
