Parking Brake Issue
When I release my parking brake the cable end comes out of the pedal and then can’t be reapplied until I crawl under it and do the things to allow me to get it back on the pedal.
Question is why? Isn’t there a spring on the cable adjuster to help pull the brakes to release them? Any help appreciated.

sounds like the cable is too loose or sticking somewhere under the car. Is your parking brake working properly when applied? I mean if you put the car in neutral on a steep hill will the parking brake hold the car.

Yes it works as it should except for the described situation.
