Battery advice
...for my Mom’s scooter. She is reliant on her scooter to get around the house and the batteries seem to drain so quickly. She had a bad fall a few months ago after her scooter died on the hall. They use two basic garden variety lawn tractor batteries. I replaced them a year ago with ones that had the most CCA. I replaced them again a few months ago and they seem to last about as long- they seem to use most of their charge almost every day. The scooter is shut off when ever it is not in motion, and she doesn’t use it excessively.
Is there a better battery alternative? We will spend good money if there is a better alternative.

You need a deep cycle battery of some sorts. A lawn tractor battery won't cut it.

Check on an Excide battery. They have the deep cycle batteries. And they're now better than Interstate's batteries.
