Default 1959 389 block/heads/crank/flywheel/bellhousing/BW-T85N - Waynesville, Ohio

I would prefer a buyer come by and see what's here, rather than take tons of pictures and nonsense.

Engine was acquired when my dad was a mechanic at a Pontiac dealer in 1959. He was building a B/Gas 1953 Studebaker which I still have and now drive occasionally. Still Pontiac powered (400/TH400)

It had been honed to open up piston-to-wall, so expect to go .030

Engine had 209 total miles (mostly flat towing around the Louisville ky area) put on it by 1969 when it popped a head gasket and he parked the car. When I redid the car in 2007-2009, I pulled the 59 389 and its on a shelf.

Has a solid cam supposedly, haven't taken it out. Schieffer aluminum flywheel. Bellhousing. Starter. Borg-warner T85N with OD.

$1000 for all I've mentioned.

IF you are seriously looking for a 59 block and etc, please contact me and we will make arrangements. It will take some time to get it out, so don't be in a rush if you decide to come by.
