Thanks guys for all the help I am going to get some floresant due to put in the radiator drive it around and take all the plugs out and see if any dye is seen in the cylinders then maybe take the intake off and look inside the ports ... Also I have read that everyone who runs e85 has water / oil in the valve covers due to condensation effect

Like Taff said if your just cruising around and not getting the oil hot enough to burn off condensation you will get the milky roof on the valve covers. Its also why you shouldn't strive for super low engine temps. Guys brag of 160-170 but don't realize Pontiac engineered these to run 195+
As far as coating. It certainly won't hurt anything and in a situation like yours ill bet anyone would've wished they sprayed them. At least then you can cross it off the mental check list!

My car runs at 175-180 all day long. No milk under the valve cover. Do what Charlie66 told you and you will find the issue.
