I run 9.450" 3/8" diameter 0.083" wall; thickness Smith Brother's PRs with Edl RP heads that use 5.275" valves and Crower lifters. Never seem to have any rpm related issues with a 0.640" lift SR. Guide plates were machined to accept the larger PRs.

1967 Firechicken, 499", Edl heads, 262/266@0.050" duration and 0.627"/0.643 lift SR cam, 3.90 gear, 28" tire, 3550#. 10.01@134.3 mph with a 1.45 60'. Still WAY under the rollbar rule.

Yes D ports. Flow sheets from his place said 340 @ .700. They have 2.19 intake valves. 1.18 x 2.42 intake port
