E85 Plug Gap?
Hey Guys - I have a 455 Pontiac with E heads and 12.5 - 13 to 1 and E85. I have MSD 6AL, Billet Dist, Blaser 2 coil and Firecore wires with NGK's #7 gapped .028 to .030 - Ignition locked with rotor phasing adjusted.
What is a good GAP for this Plug Set up? Thanks, Again, Craig |

I run both my e85 car's with out of the box gaps. Pretty sure 030 is the norm

Not high , 11.4 to 1 . Cranking psi is 185. One is N/A and the other one is turbo.
I have a 1050 on the 11.4 to 1 car .Its a Holley tuned by me..

How big of a factor does ignition spark intensity play?
I’m about to change to a NGK 5671-7 or NGK 5671-8 from a NGK 5671-10 and I’m looking for a gap recommendation. A heat range recommendation would be nice as well. I’m thinking the 8’s are going to be the recommendation but I figured I’d ask. 13.8-1 484 with highports and Holley EFI. I’m running Holley smart coils with 5.0 milliseconds dwell time

Switched out the -10’s for -8’s today.
These are what came out. They were tapped at .022”
