Default A/C nozzles - plastic gold paint?

I'm getting my 63 Lemans a/c parts cleaned and ready to install. The a/c outlet nozzles (round) on each side look like they were gold in color. Many I've seen are chrome color. What color and what paint is best for these? Thanks

I might be wrong but they should be Electroplated plastic,
I think what your seeing is old/worn electroplating that takes on a yellow/gold hue.

There are vendors/companies that re-plate plastics.
Or you could try the Chrome Plastic paints just not sure how well that would work out.

I have some chromed steel ball vent from full size that I'm pretty sure interchange, at least they do on 64/5 GTO. Than you don't have to worry about them fading again. PM if interested with diameter to verify.

Thanks all. I painted them with chrome spray paint, don't look too bad.
