Default '71 LeMans Sport Spotted (for sale?)

I found this '71 a few miles up the road from my house today. Pretty rough. Might be part of an estate sale. Lots of bondo, paint cracking all over. 350 on rocker, 10 bolt underneath. VIN is 237371Pxxxxxx ('71 LeMans Sport hardtop) but has a black '72 bucket interior and dash. Factory rally gauges and clock.

Doesn't actually say for sale, but it is parked out at the road with the '68 Ford truck and some other vehicles as if it is available.

Was the dash pad nice? Any chance you will be able to find out if it is for sale or is it going to be a high bidder auction?

Thanks Lyn.

Lucerne blue/Viking blue 71's nearly always look sweet!

Bodyman/restorer that I was was just at his shop, has two Viking blue W30 Olds projects.

I want to say it had cracks, might be able to see it again soon. Car is just up the road. Not sure who owns it or when/how it will be for sale. They are all parked in a random way that doesn't make sense unless they are trying to attract attention/buyers...but none have for sale signs displayed. Nobody came out of a distant building when I drove up and got out to take a look/pictures.

It could be Lucy blue, looks more like it in pics than in person. Paint is not good. If I find a person to ask I will take a look at the data tag. It looks much better in pics than in person. Could be restored, but would need a ton of body work and metal. Even fiberglass nose is damaged in a few areas. No idea if it runs/drives.

For the right price I would make it stop/go safely, and then drive the wheels off it with the windows down and tunes blaring. I don't think I'd care to fix the rust!

Just went back to this car ( in my '71 this time, but nobody came out to talk to me again). It is a factory Lucy blue (26 26) car with 267 interior. Dash (72) is cracked. Driver's bucket seat (72) shredded. 350 2V and all AC components present. Factory Soft Ray glass all around.

Squidward...yes, it is that kind of car...you wouldn't want to stop and let people see the bondo and paint cracking...it's a 50 footer.
