1966 GTO convertible
The time has come to sell my 1966 GTO. I have been restoring it since January 2009. I've done a complete body off, nut and bolt, rotisserie restoration. Color is the original Blue Charcoal with a black top and interior just as it came off the assembly line. I've spent a lot of time, research, and money to make this car as close to when it was new as possible. Has new paint, brakes, brake lines, fuel lines, suspension, Legendary upholstery, weatherstripping, convertible top and carpet. No pitting on the chrome. The motor has been professionally rebuilt as well as the transmission. The transmission has the correct VIN stamped on it. 1966 GTOs did not have a VIN on the engine.
I have certainly learned a lot doing this restoration, but it is time for me to move on to other projects or to just relax for a while. NADA pricing guide places the value on a 1966 GTO convertible with 3x2 and a four speed at $92,820 for average retail and at $133,820 for high retail. This car is certainly in the middle of this range. I am asking $50,000 for this car. I have considerably more than that invested in it without even taking my labor into consideration. This car will not disappoint. Message me. |

Sold. I put the car on Hemmings Motor News web site for $99.95 and sold it in less than 24 hours. Easiest sale I've ever made.
