Default Which aftermarket A-Arms for street/strip on 1967 GTO

I have a 1967 GTO that I want to upgrade the front suspension. I am needing to change ball joints and always have liked the looks of the aftermarket A Arms so figured now would be the time to change them. I have owned this car since 1975 and when last parked it was being used as an 1/8th mile strip car so doesn't have the front fender wells in it etc. I want some strong and safe A Arms that can take a 3600 lb car yanking the front end off the ground yet if possible make it handle better when street driven to cruises etc.
I have been out of the loop for many years so don't know what's hot and what's not and who sells the good stuff.
I am looking for recommendations from those that have personally purchased aftermarket A Arms and can tell me the advantages and disadvantages and who you would buy them from.
If needing more info I am running 69 Grand Prix stock front spindles and brakes.
Thanks!

For a mostly strip limited street car--- TRZ
For a street/strip either BMR or UMI.

I use Speedtech on my 75 Lemans. go to pro-touring.com for more info than you ever wanted to know about tubular arms and someone might be having a sale on them.

We do street rod/rat rod chassis and usually just use Speedways basic "Mustang2" front suspension kits. More than I'd prefer Dave doesn't opt for the kits with adjustable control arms.
More than a few times he ended up needing to upgrade to adjustable arms.

It's nice to have extra adjustability especially when planned wheel/tire combo's don't work out or customer changes their mind.

Speedway has high quality stuff with their own brand name and premier brand names. Lots of choice for race or street . Race stuff is geared to the circle track market .(strong)
IMO their street rod stuff is more than up to drag race and/or street strip use.
Excellent customer service and tech support. Reasonable prices. Ten yrs with Dave, we haven't had any shipping problems. No hassles to return things if need arises.
Jegs, Summit, and RockAuto are our other sources of parts we need/use. The typical chains can't deal with non "standard" configurations.

Not Really Needed on a Street Strip car.
I like the BMR stuff personally for Street Strip. I am running their rear Anti-Roll bar on my GTO and it works well and is nice quality.

Mike, I looked at the 64-72 A-Body Upper A-Arms (black) and really like the engineering that was done to make everything strong.
All of the welded parts (mated with the water jetted parts) seem to be in the right spots.
The removable ball joint is definitely an upgrade over the old Global West Arms I have.
SWEET

Advice... Before you change things out be sure your stock suspension stuff has the adjustment range it was born with. Not maxed out one way on one side and opposite situation on the other side.
It's an old car and could have been tweaked from a mishap early in it's life.
May be worthwhile to visit a good collision shop that has good frame and alignment equipment to verify the frame is straight etc..

I have DSE (Detroit Speed & Engineering) upper and lower front control arms. Take the time to look at their offerings on their website.
